Loblolly clients are struck by the high level and range of expertise offered by owners Walter and Lotte Bowie.
There's a sense they will get a unique production grounded by some new thinking about their market and their growth opportunities. Walter's years of computer graphics, computer programming and troubleshooting experience will give them not just an impactful internet presence but a secure one as well. Lotte's long-tenure in the advertising and packaging design world gives them highly creative paths to get to their market.

Walter began his fascination with technology in the mid-1970's when he started programming a Hewlett Packard computer in high school that sported only a card reader and teletype printer. Combining that with an interest in art he eventually graduated with a masters in design focusing on video and computer graphics from Virginia Commonwealth University. After working for a computer graphics firm in Richmond, he moved to San Francisco where he became facilities manager for a video production company and edited videos for key clients such as The Gap, Sony Signatures, Delta Dental and Farrallon. In the middle of the multi-media gulch at the height of the "dot.com bubble", he was emersed in the juncture of video, animation, programming and the emergence of the world-wide web.
Since moving back east, he has continued to explore new territories such as database programming and creating a geographic information system from scratch, from which he has generated map graphics for print and web.

Lotte started her career in the media department of Young & Rubicam advertising agency in New York and then moved into the creative end of the business designing packaging and promotional materials for national brand clients such as Dannon yogurt and Johnson & Johnson bandaids. Next she joined the marketing team for the launch of Vanity Fair magazine at Conde Nast Publishing, Inc. and after establishing the firm success of this magazine she relocated to San Fransico as the west coast manager on the relaunch of Mademoiselle magazine. In 1997, she started her own company, producing promotional videos for magazines such as Mode magazine, Wired magazine and Sunset magazine and expanded into educational training videos with ongoing client work from Benefit Cosmetics and Essential Elements Aromatherapy.
On the east coast, Lotte enjoys servicing her clients with a wide range of product and package design, advertising, and video production skills.
"...talented, creative, and professional in all that they do. I enjoy working with them and they have made me successful by keeping each project moving forward and on schedule."
